Reflections from the weekend...
A couple of weeks ago I attended a Cursillo weekend. The weekend was an incredible opportunity to learn and grow more deeply in my faith while sharing in a joyful and meaningful way with a group of amazing women. I found the teaching extremely powerful and was impressed with the practical tools for deepening our faith that were shared. The Holy Spirit was so present in gifts of laughter, tears and deep genuine sharing of faith. It was a beautiful and life changing experience. I am extremely grateful to have attended Cursillo.

My cursillo weekend
Each of us, as a twig/plant with a thorn or damage,
growing roots, willing to have the ground tilled under me,
open to be shaken, new earth and transplantation, draining me.
Exhaustion
Rain, sun, music, wind and fertilizer sprinkles over me, over you the entire time.
And then, with open eyes I felt the transformation!
Filled with joy and energy.
A beautiful smelling garden in front of me.
Each of us part of it, filled by the Holy Spirit
encouraged to share and continue what was started.
"Plant more of those gardens!!"
"I was to empty my bucket,
let go of what I was holding on to
then I was going to be refilled!
And it happened"

Soon after he connected through Kickstart, then Traction where he is now coached by DR’s Rob McDowell. In his move from maintenance to mission Father Tony is confident, “The Holy Spirit is guiding; I can tell you that it is a good decision.” Continue reading
